London Entrepreneur Jamila Robertson, has been selected by the Brent East Conservatives to represent them in the upcoming General Election.
Jamila will be standing against incumbent Labour, MP Dawn Butler, who has held the seat since 2017.
Ms Robertson said: "I offer a future that encourages and uplifts the resourceful and diverse population of Brent, and one that they deserve."
Sapna Chadha, chair of Brent East Conservative Association, said: "We had three excellent female candidates each with their own personal stories, experience and understanding of the issues facing the residents in Brent. Jamila stood out to our members with her pledges and we look forward to introducing her to the community."
Jamila will be standing on a pledge to tackle crime, ensure more family homes are built in the area, and to help local businesses by demanding a major review of the business rates system.
